Sunshine members in both locations, Newburgh & Monticello, enjoyed a great holiday season this year. Starting with a celebratory lunch in Monticello to a visit from Santa in Newburgh. It was a very busy month and everyone had a blast. On behalf of Sunshine, we’d like to wish you a very happy holiday season!
If you are a family caregiver to an elderly loved one, it can be very stressful and exhausting at times. You love your relative and are willing to do anything for him or her, but you are only human and have limitations. Perhaps your job is suffering, or you’re starting to neglect your own family.
Sunshine is proud to announce Sojourner Drye as Novembers employee of the month. Soso, as we call her, has been with Sunshine for a little over 2 years. She is always smiling and has a helpful spirit not only to members but to her colleagues as well. Soso is patient and truly cares for the members and their needs.
We’ve been working on decorating for Thanksgiving. These turkeys are the favorites so far!

Our Monticello center had a wonderful visitor! The members were thrilled to meet this sweet Owl, and of course his owner. A great time was had by all. Our members agreed that these two can come back and visit any time.
